Three die in tower crane accident

Three men died when the tower crane they were working on collapsed in northwest China on Saturday.

The accident happened at a construction site at the Shangluo Vocational and Technical College in Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. In total five people were working on the crane, either erecting or dismantling it.

The crane operator two erectors died at the scene after falling around 30 metres, while other two were lower down the tower and were able to climb down. The accident is under investigation.
